Reviews & Ratings

Front seat belt 3 point inertia with a black plastic buckle and black coloured webbing. The buckle side has a rigid stalk. Hardware and instructions are included. Webbing is 2800mm long,  AS/NZS 2596 Approved ECU R16 Approved

All of our seatbelts are manufactured in the UK and they meet all current UK MOT requirements. Out aircraft style pull up to release chrome buckle belts are specified to BSI standards. Our modern style push in buckle seats are specified to European standards. Both styles are equally safe but vehicles manufactured after December 1971 can only fit a push in buckle European standard belts at the front due to current legislation.

Any seatbelt can be fitted to an earlier pre 1966 Beetle subject to appropriate mountings. All our front inertia mechanisms are designed to be mounted upright and come with brackets suitable for the 1966 onwards lower B post mounting. Your car may need a thread adaptor. We cannot supply the diagonal only seatbelts as found on many early Beetles.
