Reviews & Ratings
  • 36-point external adjustment for precise tuning
  • Fully rebuildable for long-lasting performance
  • Gold Cadmium plated body for corrosion resistance

The Gaz adjustable front shock absorber is designed specifically for use on vehicles with welded dropped spindles. With a maximum extended length of 450mm and a maximum compressed length of 340mm, it provides superior performance and durability. Each shock is carefully tested on a dynamometer before dispatch to ensure optimal quality, and they are supplied as a pair with a 3-year warranty.

These shocks feature a fully rebuildable design, allowing you to maintain them for years to come. The 36-point external adjustment lets you fine-tune the shock’s performance to your exact needs, while the gold cadmium plated body offers excellent protection against corrosion. Each unit is individually numbered and rigorously tested to ensure it meets high standards of reliability.

Fitting Info

It is very important to fit the correct length shocks to a lowered car. There must be at least 2 inches of up and down travel from the normal ride height. To ascertain what length you require you must measure the distance between the shock mountings on your vehicle after you have removed the existing shock. This must be done with the vehcile on its road wheels (not on a jack). Once you have measured you need to check it against the shock absorbers we list to see which ones you need.

Prior to fitting new shock absorbers always pump it through a few strokes the correct way up. This removes bubbles that may have formed in the fluid whilst in storage and improves the effectiveness.

With shocks, we tend to advise people to remove their existing shocks and then put the vehicle back on it road wheels, then measure the distance between the top and bottom shock mounting points. If the measurement you have is somewhere in the middle of 340mm and 450mm, these should be suitable. Hope this help
