What exhaust system would be the best for my 1972 S Bug beetle it is running a 1600 twin port motor and I removed a standard set of exhaust headers with a hot dog muffler attched.

Thanks for the enquiry. it looks like AC251714 could be used with your 1600 twin port as long as you don't have twin pre heat pipes. This system can be used with heat exchangers or j tubes. We are not familiar with the hot dog muffler, but this as you can see is a complete replacement.
