Product Questions

I have recently purchased this kit for my 1981 T25 - 2000cc CU engine. I have fitted the pickup tube by pushing it on to the existing as far as it will go and doing up the clamp, fitted the sump with one of original screen gaskets and all looks good.
When I came to fit the new screen it will not go over the tube and therefore is about 8-10mm from its mating surface on the new sump.
Also there were no sealing rings for the cap screws that hold the bottom plate and screen on.

Thanks for the enquiry. I had a chat with one of the product team and they did confirm the new strainer can be a tight fit, but should go over the extended pick up once pushed. If you can send some images of the problem to help@heritagepartscentre.com we will be able to look into the problem further.
