Reviews & Ratings
  • Designed for middle or rear side windows with a thicker profile.
  • Plain seal with no provision for chrome trim.
  • Provides a secure, weather-resistant fit.

This side window seal is crafted for middle or rear side windows and features a thicker profile compared to the 1968-1973 seal. It’s a plain seal without any provision for chrome trim, designed to deliver a robust, weather-resistant fit.

Ideal for replacing worn seals, this component ensures a snug and secure seal around your windows, enhancing both durability and protection against the elements. Perfect for maintaining the integrity of your vehicle’s window installation.

Product Questions

Hi. I have purchased a seal for my 74 bay left side rear windows the fitter can't get the window in as he said the seal is too hard (after a lot grunting and swearing). Is this german seal soft for ease of fitting?

Afternoon Mitch,

I can't comment on what you already have. But fitting these old style seals does generally involve a bit of grunting and effort with two people. To make the job easier please ensure that the rubber is warm and use some WD 40 around the lip on the body of the vehicle.
