Complete cylinder head. For 1800-2000cc Type 4 engine with stepped/oval exhaust port. No EGR holes. These heads have an improved sealing surface so no longer use the sealing rings as originally used. Includes rocker/inlet/exhaust studs.
Note: The threaded hole to the left of the inlet manifold is for an injection system temperature sensor if required. If you have a carburettor vehicle please ignore this hole.

Do these heads require the valve seats to be lapped before use?

heads are pre built with valves fitted, lapping should not be necessary, however it is always good practice to check good valve sealing before installation.
