How much shorter are these shocks? I'm looking to lower my 73 beetle approx 2/3 inches. Will these suffice? Thanks!

These have a measurement of 355mm extended and 225mm compressed. We recommend once lowered to put the Beetle back on its road wheels, without any shocks and measure the distance between the upper and lower mounting points. If the measurements you have is approx 280mm these will be suitable.
