Reviews & Ratings
Empi zero offset wide five disc brake kit for use with standard pre 1965 drum brake spindles (King and link pin models). This kit will not work with drop spindles – will only work with stock-style drum brake spindles. Must use with 15” wheels.
Empi’s special brake disc and caliper mounting bracket combine to give you a premium disc brake upgrade, using your existing front spindles. You can have the stopping power of disc brakes and still bolt on your favourite 15'' 5/205 pad wheels without using adaptors.
This kit has a near zero offset meaning there is no loss of tyre clearance. (On early models up to 1957 there is a +8mm change)
The kit is supplied with: 2x 5/205 Discs 2x Calipers with pads 2x Caliper brackets 1x Single circuit master cylinder 2x 483mm Brake hoses Wheel bearings and seals Fitting hardware
Are the brake pads supplied in this kit asbestos free?
Australian Customs and Border Force have a zero tolerance policy on goods containing asbestos.

Hi Dougal asbestos, was taken out of pads and exhaust products over 25 years ago, in the modern world, 100% no asbestos
Answer by: Rob Baxter (Admin) on 27 Nov 2023, 8:27 am
Thanks Rob. Australian authorities require importers (commercial and private) to conduct sufficient due diligence to confirm products do not contain asbestos. I'd rather ask the question than cop a $180,000AUD fine.

Hi Dougal
Pads have not had Asbestos in them for over 25 years, I can assure you they haven't and we sell to Australia these all the time
