VW Vanagon Cooling

VW Vanagon Cooling Parts for Aircooled Models

Unique to the Type 25, T3, T25, Vanagon, Wedge or whatever you care to call it, was the fact it was made and sold with both aircooled and watercooled engine options. As far as we recall, in Europe at least, this was not done with any other model.

The 1600cc CT and the 2000cc CU were the two aircooled engine options, and we are able to supply a number of parts for the aircooled Vanagon cooling system. From hoses, and rubber seals, through to tinware and fittings, such as nuts, bolts and screws. We can also help with Vanagon thermostat parts too.

With such a reliance upon the managed flow of both cool and warm air, it is essential that your Vanagon cooling parts on an aircooled engine are in place. Should the Vanagon tinware be missing, you could cause engine bay temperatures to rise, and that could lead to overheating, especially in summer months, carrying heavy loads, or tackling steep hills.

Watercooled Vanagon Coolant System Parts

Should you own a watercooled example of the 3rd generation Transporter, you’ll likely be shopping for things like Vanagon coolant hoses or Vanagon radiators. There are once more a number of engine configurations, with both a waterboxer engine in 1.9 and 2.1 litres, and a trio of diesel engines, including a Turbocharged version.

When it comes to supplying Vanagon water hoses, we have your back. Our team have spent hours working our exactly where each hose goes, and what models and years it fits so that you can order and fit with confidence.

A damaged or leaky radiator really isn’t what you need, but it’s always best to fix it when you spot it, rather than risk it getting worse and letting you down while away on holiday. Should you need a Vanagon radiator, you’ve come to the right place.

Broken down on the road? We can even deliver your Vanagon cooling parts to a campsite or local workshop should that be more convenient for you. With our Express Delivery options, we can often dispatch your order the same day.

Vanagon Waterpump Parts

Along with the metal waterpipes for Vanagon which run from the front radiator to the engine at the back, we can offer a range of Vanagon water pumps, and associated cooling parts, such as Vanagon water pump pulleys, drive belts, thermostat housings and more.

Some models are also fitted with an electric Vanagon water pump. Naturally, we have those too.

As with all parts, if you can’t see what you need, or have questions that you can’t find the answer to, please drop our team an email help@heritagepartscentre.com
