LED lights are polarity-sensitive. Around 1998, Land Rover reversed the positive and negative leads in the indicator and sidelight connectors. If your vehicle was built after this change, you may need to swap the connector pins in the plug. This process is simple and only applies to the indicators and sidelights. You can safely test the lights on your vehicle first without risking damage to the wiring or the lights. If a light does not work, simply reverse the pins in the connector plugs on the lights themselves.

If you have a Series III or a Defender built before 1994, you might need an STC1188 or STC4637 wiring adaptor loom.
