Reviews & Ratings
A strong, powerful, offset gear-reduced starter motor. Delivering 1.4kw of power through a set of steel internal gears. This lightweight, compact and durable unit starts the engine faster, whilst drawing less current from the battery.
The starter gear is also self supporting eliminating the need for a traditional starter bush.

When installed will the solenoid be on the left or the right-hand side of the starter, when viewed from the rear?

normal side (right, when looking from the back of the car, forward) but at a steeper angle

Any reason this wouldn't fit a 1966 Ghia?

Depends on the gearbox, because this is a self supporting Starter motor you dont use the armature bush which are different 6 and 12 volt
