This rear brake drum is a direct replacement for VW Beetles and Karmann Ghias built up to October 1957 (Chassis # 1 673 410). Worn or out-of-round drums can severely reduce braking performance and compromise safety, making replacement essential for maintaining proper stopping power and confident driving.

Manufactured to OE specifications, the drum is equipped with the correct oil drain hole for the rear hub oil slinger. Supplied individually, we strongly recommend replacing the brake shoes at the same time to ensure optimal brake contact and long-term reliability.
