This copper sealing washer measures 6mm internal diameter and 10mm external diameter and is designed to provide a reliable, leak-free seal in a variety of automotive applications. Common uses include the sump plate nuts on all aircooled VW & Porsche engines up to 1600cc, the upper stop bolt on Mk1 and Mk2 Golf, Scirocco and Jetta brake master cylinders, and the retaining bolts for the thermostat outlet flange on 1.9-litre water-cooled VW Transporter engines. It is also used on VW T4 Transporters and Golf Mk3s to seal the banjo connections between the diesel leak-off hoses on both 4-cylinder and 5-cylinder engines.
