This kit is designed to provide an easy way to connect an additional battery for vehicles with big stereos or camping accessories. It protects the main engine battery from being run flat ensuring the vehicle can always be started. The second battery is charged whilst the engine is running but disconnected from the original battery when the engine is switched off.
