123 - recommend Replacing the coil when fitting a New 123ignition Distributor, The following ignition coils in combination with a 123ignition - for a 4 cylinder engine : recommended primary resistance 3 Ohm. minimum 1 Ohm If the 123ignition does not work properly with the ballast resistor from the ignition coil. Remove the ballast resistor from the ignition coil.
