Product Questions

Which size tyres would be the best to put on these rims to fit inside the wheel arch of my 1969 beetle
Question by: Trevor on 8 Jul 2021, 07:02
So it all depends on current ride height and personal preference. Bear in mind the higher the profile the softer the ride and will give taller gearing, low profiles will give a harder ride and reduce top speed cruising, you can fit up to a 195 width comfortably on the rear without fouling the arches. 165/175/185 widths will fit on the front depending on how lowered your beetle is, I would recommend 60 or higher profiles for comfort Its probably best to look at other beetles with similar wheels to work out what will be best for you, check forums etc.
