Vintage Speed Sports Exhaust system designed to suit Type-1 1300-1600cc based engines in Beetles with tailpipe cutouts & Karmann Ghias. 

Produced by Vintage Speed these stainless steel exhausts are the perfect performance upgrade exhaust for aircooled VW engines. Designed to integrate well with the classic lines of your VW, these high quality exhausts have twin tailpipes that exit in the stock location while offering increased flow for more power and a deeper, sportier exhaust note.

Supplied with header pipes without heat risers to suit more performance oriented twin carburettor engines; however we do sell the header pipes to suit single carburettor engines with pre-heats, item AC251789. 

Precision TIG welded to achieve a show quality finish; these exhausts are a work of art as well as being the must-have performance upgrade for your VW.

Designed with performance Type-1 engines at the forefront of their mind, Vintage Speed Sports exhausts utilise adjustable flange joints to ensure that no matter how big you go with your performance build that these exhausts will be suitable. The adjustable flanges allow the Sports exhaust to be used with standard capacity 1300-1600cc engines as well as larger capacity & stroker engines; so whether you've got a 1776cc or a stroker 2332cc there will be a Vintage Speed Sports exhaust to suit.

-Fibreglass fire sleeve on header pipes to protect fresh air hoses
-+/- 4mm Adjustable flanges for stroker & standard 1300-1600cc engines.
-Built in M18x1.5 nuts for lambda sensor when tuning carburettors.

The supplied adjustable flange joints allow the exhaust to fit with standard Heat Exchangers or J-Tubes, however if the standard slip joint doesn't satisfy you or you want to go for a larger diameter J-tube then we also sell the Vintage Speed Bolt-on flange adapters for larger diameter J-Tubes:
