EMPI Turbo trip exhaust system for 1300-1600cc T1 engines in Beetles. Includes small flange header, turbo trip silencer in black and fibre gaskets to fit. The exhaust box tucks up in the rear wheel arch giving good ground clearance for lowered beetles.
A turbo trip is a larger version of a quiet pack exhaust. A quiet pack is an oval shaped exhaust silencer containing perforated tubes. Quiet packs offer very good sound absorption with low back pressure

These give a low down throaty sound, so are not the loudest unit. If you have a search on You Tube, you should find some examples of EMPI Turbo Trip in action.
