Product Questions
Is the '1/8" threaded plug for a vacuum take off' NPT, BSPP or BSPT thread?
Do you sell a barbed connector to fit this?
Do you sell a barbed connector to fit this?
Question by: Will Daykin on 24 Aug 2021, 19:37
It looks like these will be NPT as they come from the USA. unable to help with a suitable barb connector at present from our stocks.
Answer by: Nick Bitton on 25 Aug 2021, 17:00
Thanks for confirming its an NPT thread, can you tell me exactly what I need to look for to fit a 3.5 vacuum pipe to this? I've looked on the EMPI web site but can't find any more info.
I don't know much about NPT thread but the threaded section looks a lot wider than 1/8". I'm assuming the 1/8" refers to the barbed bit that fits into the vacuum pipe?

HI William we currently don't offer the barb that fits to this manifold unfortunately.
You will need barb width of 1/8 or similar for 3.5mm for standard vac hose N02-029-11
Depending on what you are fitting ie distributor, servo etc you could re tap to fit larger size or metric barbs if required.
