Forged 4340 Chromoly counterweighted 82mm crankshaft manufactured by CB Performance. The crank features VW rod journals, cross groove oiling holes, extra long 8mm flywheel dowels and micro polished bearing journals. The crank is dynamically balanced, magnafluxed and the bearing surfaces nitrided.

When more power is required a stroker crankshaft is the way to go. Increased piston velocity offers more power and torque. For most sizes of crankshaft your crankcase will need clearancing but the amount can be reduced by using Chevy diameter con rods which have a smaller big end than VW rods. Super race cases do not require any clearance work
