Could you tell me what the difference is meant to be between this (211-609-701/H ) and 211-609-701/P, I've purchased both from you to try and identify the correct cable for our '68 and both of these cables are literally identical despite the different part code and description.

There is not a great deal between them at all
211-609-701/P is 3440mm, 04/1968-07/1971 from chassis number 218 104 707 to chassis number 211 2300 000.
211-609-701/H is 3438mm, models up to chassis number 218 104 7072
