Just purchased one for 1971 1302 cabriolet and found it is too tall, and now see from the pictures shown of product that there appears to be two sizes shown. But the description doesn’t mention the possibility of two sizes ?

Does this fuel pump contain an internal filter? If so, does this rule out the need for an in-line filter between the pump and the carburettor?
Question by: Geoffrey Davies on 28 Apr 2024, 10:37

No these pumps do not have a filter. Regardless, you should always run a filter before the fuel arrives at the pump.

Tanks can be dirty and so can the fuel that you put in the tank.
