The rear crossmember on Land Rover Series II, IIA, and III 109" models is a known rust-prone area, especially around the spring hangers and chassis legs. The LR27 repair panel is UK manufactured to OE specifications and finished in black powder coating for added corrosion protection. It features 325mm extensions for secure overlap onto the existing chassis, simplifying welding and alignment. Supplied with all correct mounting points, this crossmember ensures a precise fit and reliable structural restoration. Once installed, it’s highly recommended to apply WaxOyl or similar rustproofing inside the assembly to protect against future corrosion.
