The rear half chassis on Land Rover Series II, IIA, and III 88" SWB models is a critical structural section that often suffers from rust, especially around spring hangers and the rear crossmember. The LRD129 repair panel is UK manufactured from 2.5mm mild steel and finished in black powder coating for enhanced corrosion protection. It features 1400mm chassis legs for extended coverage, joggled ends for easy fitment over the existing chassis, and is fully welded with all correct brackets. Spring hangers with bushes and dual exhaust mounts are included to suit both left- and right-hand drive vehicles. For added longevity, applying WaxOyl or similar rustproofing inside the assembly is highly recommended after installation.
