AA Performance Slip-In Stroker 96mm Barrel & Piston Kit with Forged JE 2618 Aluminium pistons.

This kit is designed to bolt onto a standard 2.0 Litre Type-4 engine case with a long stroke crankshaft, 78mm - 86mm. Installing this kit will increase displacement to 2374cc with an 82mm crankshaft without any bore work to the crankcase. Pistons are Forged 96mm Flat-Top JE big bore high compression pistons with a 30.08mm compression height, ideal for a high power stroker engine build. This stroker barrel & piston kit is designed to be used with a larger throw crankshaft; it is not suitable for use with a standard throw crankshaft. 22mm pins.

78mm Crankshaft = 2258cc

82mm Crankshaft = 2374cc

86mm Crankshaft = 2490cc

Forged pistons are the strongest available for aircooled VWs; the grain structure of the metal is a lot tighter meaning they can withstand higher loads than the cast equivalent and will therefore be more suited to high performance engines and make for a longer lasting engine.

This AA Performance kit includes the piston rings, gudgeon pins and clips as well as the barrels & pistons; a complete set for 1 engine.
