| Fitting Info | VW changed the bottom mounting bracket for the window winding mechanism in August 1974. For pre August 1974 Beetles, you need to make a simple extension bracket, or change to the later type window lifter which is part number 111-837-502\/K You will also need to change the window guide channel to the 8\/72 onwards style, part number 111-837-418\/C Most doors have holes for the side trim but occasionally supply may be without holes. This is outside our control and it is not possible to specify with or without holes. |
