This oil sump inspection plate is a smart upgrade for your classic Volkswagen Bus, offering the added benefit of a threaded port for an oil temperature sender. Designed to fit 1.7 to 2.0 litre engines from 1971 to 1983, it allows for precise monitoring of oil temperature directly from the sump—where readings are most accurate.
Ideal for restorations or performance builds, this plate helps you keep a closer eye on engine health. For best results, be sure to order a new O-ring seal (part number 021-101-269/A) when installing the new plate to ensure a leak-free fit. Temp sender - 0-150 Deg C, part number 1H0-919-563 or V323423.
