CB Performance 34mm Solex electric choke carburettor kit, suitable for Type-4 1700, 1800 and 2000cc engines.

This kit is a stock replacement for original Solex carburettors but does not include a take off for the vacuum advance on a stock distributor, meaning a Bosch 009 distributor must be fitted. The complete kit includes carburettors, manifolds, air filters, linkage, fuel hose and all hardware to fit.

The linkage kit supplied is a push linkage not a pull linkage as described in the instructions. For optimum performance the kit will need to be set up on a rolling road. If adjustments/running at low speed prove a problem we would suggest replacing the smaller manifold barbs with AC1153971 and fit a length of 1/2inch hose balance pipe.

This carburettor kit uses a rebuild kit that is specific to this CB Performance kit. You will need CB performance part number 3297.
