The last in our quartet of early morning enthusiast meet ups was aimed at the oldest models in our product range. The aircooled VWs, Porsches and anything else motorised that doesn't rely on a radiator to keep it cool. It was a fine day, and around 40 vehicles came along to join in the fun.
Aircooled Only!
We've spent many years uniting owners of all VW and Porsche) models together, especially at our Heretics meets, but this event was a pure celebration for the oldest of classics. These are the vehicles with which our company has the most history, vehicles which in one shape or another have been unavailable to buy new for over 30, 40 or 50 years; even still, enthusiasts will do anything to own and drive one.

A safe space...
Owners of modern VWs and Porsches are only too happy to rub shoulders with vehicles and owners of classic aircooled variants, but the same can't always be said the other way around.
Fan Haus offered a safe space away from contempory campervans and high horse power hot-hatchbacks, leaving room for the form and function of these more simple machines to be enjoyed. We should add, we were also joined by a couple of aircooled motorbikes too, and a VW trike, so should we repeat this event, invitations aren't just extended to those with 4 wheels.

Aircooled Porsche and VW
Whether it's a VW Type 3 or a Porsche 356 that floats your aircooled boat, Fan Haus offered a bit of everything. Beach Buggies, Porsche Speedsters, an Oval Beetle towing a vintage caravan, not to mention numerous vans in the shape of Splits, Bays and Type 25. We even drove the Riddler out of the workshop for a few more people to enjoy its craziness!

A big thanks to everyone who set their alarm early and joined us for Fan Haus. Special mention to Max, Jack, Chris and Ricardo who made Saturday a working day (and also found time for a bit of tinkering with our Beetle Rally Car) and to Kate and Connie for catering and providing the coffee. We hope to see you all again soon.
