Product Questions
Hi,
just wondering as there are a number of possible alternator variants for a 911.
I have a 1977 911 with a carrera 3.0 engine with an external voltage regulator and wondering if this unit is suitable. Eng number 6661248 and fan shroud number 9011061015R if that helps. It is a shallow mounted one if that helps as well. I’m new to the 911 game so need some help in this department, much appreciated,
Regards Cliff

Thanks for the enquiry. Sadly we don't have much information regarding these from the supplier other than the models and years they are suitable for.
It is an internal regulator alternator replacement for external regulator alternators. The external regulator should be removed from the vehicle when fitting.
It may be worth running it past an auto-electrician, to see what would be involved, before making the purchase.
