This genuine VW 2-pin weather seal plug is used in a wide variety of locations throughout Volkswagen and Porsche wiring looms. Due to their exposed locations, these connectors can become brittle and deteriorate over time, leading to poor electrical connections, corrosion, and intermittent faults. In engine bay applications, damaged connectors can contribute to erratic sensor readings and poor engine performance.

For many repairs, the original terminals can be removed from the housing using the correct de-pinning tool or a pair of small jeweller's screwdrivers, allowing the connector body to be renewed without disturbing the vehicle wiring. If the terminals and seals also require replacement, we offer a complete repair kit with new connectors and rubber boots under part number 037-906-240/SET, providing everything needed for a professional wiring repair.
